Maternity Photo Shoot

Pure 7 Studios had a shoot in an old historic building in Hattiesburg, MS. Our friends, Kerry, Grace, London and Joseph helped to create some unique maternity photos in the Geiger Building, downtown Hattiesburg Mississippi. Although the lofts at the Geiger Building are not finished, we were able to borrow Mrs. Brown's unfinished loft apartment for the background of this adorable photo shoot.

Dad's Gift for Mother's Day

Mother's Day was an awesome opportunity for Dad's like Andrew from Hattiesburg, MS to have him and his adorable son's photo taken. The photos came out so cute. He had a canvas photo printed and Pure 7 was told today, that she loved it!

Majority of the photos were taken in front of Forrest Paper Company in downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi on a Sunday afternoon. The stone steps and old door made for a great background and the trees made for some great shade to keep us from having a little sunshine overkill. We appreciated the help of Aaron, who came a long on the shoot. He was awesome at getting the baby's attention and blocking some of the sun spots. Thanks Aaron!

Dave & Denae's weddding

Let me start of by saying these are two of the best people I know. Dave has been a great friend of mine for a long time. The two of them together is something special. It is so corny but they are really meant for each other. And they are blessed with twin boys, Chase & Carter. Even the rain couldn't stop it from being a great day, although I am glad it held of until we were done taking photos at the garden. It was a perfect wedding. Congrats guys we love you.

Kelly Senior Session

So, nothing like shooting a last minute senior session three weeks before graduation. I tried out a new location because of the time crunch, so it worked out very well. I could shoot seniors everyday, I love it. Kelly is a friend of the family, and just last year we took her sisters senior portraits. It seems like it was just yesterday, crazy.

Beau & Gretchen Engagement

"Beau and I had a great time getting our engagement pictures taken on Sunday. We were impressed, before meeting both of you, with the quality of the photography, but you both are so laid back and fun to be around that it made the experience that much better...

Couples like Gretchen & Beau are why we love what we do so much. They were so fun, very laid back and very easy to shoot (even though they are Gators, go Noles!!!). During the shoot we somehow managed to break two wine glasses, do not ask how. We cannot wait until their wedding next year it is going to be a great time.

new mac is here!!

So its here and I am actually posting this blog from the new Mac. but I am waiting on CS3 and Lightroom to get here in the mail so I can get all my editing done and post some new photos from recent shoots, I am way behind! But do not worry it will not be much longer.

Prom

Pure 7 Studios get to do all the fun stuff!!! We had the opportunity to photography the Fort Walton Beach High School pre Prom at Sandestin's Baytowne Wharf. One of our best client's had us on hand to take photos of their beautiful daughter, Brooke. Take a look fr yourself.

miss destin 2008

I had the privilege of shooting one of the girls in the Miss Destin Pageant tonight, Brooke. She is one of 9 girls competing for the crown. The theme for the shoot was taken from the Miss Destin Pageant from the 50's. The pageant will be tomorrow at 7pm at the Destin Community Center. I will post some photos tomorrow when I get back.
